Welcome to my website... dedicated to photos and memories of days gone by.
The Crystal Springs Farm was 248 acres of what I look back on as a wonderful, and nothing short of magical, place for a young fella to grow up.
Most of it's acreage was made up of woods and ravines, orchards, streams and ponds, even the Tioughanioga River and the Lehigh Valley Railroad ran through it.
It had many outbuildings still standing left from a majestic era, abandoned remnants of a time long ago...
They were not being used by my Dad, so it seemed that they all belonged to me, and became a very important part of my world.
The huge old two family farmhouse with it's attics and cellars to explore, the barn with it's mysterious haymow full of hay to build forts and tunnels in, high beams to climb on, and a marvelous old rope hanging from it's peak to swing on...
All of these things and more made up what was to me a never ending source of excitement and adventure.
With my imagination as my guide, the Crystal Springs Farm created for me a world of my very own that could be anything I wanted it to be.
I know now, after all these years, that those times were special beyond words... and I was very lucky, very lucky indeed, to have had that old Farm as my boyhood friend.
I truly feel blessed for my old friend The Farm, and for my many memories that keep it forever in my heart...
